Looksmart Alterations

I have been going here for over a year now. I have had several ball gowns altered for my wife and daughters as well mens suits tailored. Narges (the proprietor) has been doing this a long time and has an exceptional eye for detail. She enjoys her work and knows how to get an amazing result. Price is very reasonable and very much worth it. I always get great service and fantastic results. I have been extremely satisfied with their dry cleaning service. It is quick, well priced with excellent results. Even the hangers I brought in have always come back to me.

Charged me 85 bucks to cut a dress down the cut wasn't even straight and it took 6 days

Took hubbys pants for alterations and was done in 10 mins. so happ with the work as well as the time it took to do it on a thurday for late shopping hours.

Needed a shirt altered. I was measured up without hassle and very quickly. I had to pay upfront $100. Service took 3 days. When I went to collect the shirt the job was done well however, there was a stain on the chest. I spoke to the lady who told me it was there when she got it but I had come straight from the shop where I had tried it on. I asked for it to be cleaned, they told me they could dry clean it but I would have to pay. I took the shirt to another alterations shop who said I was grossly overcharged for the small amount of work that was done and that the stain was from the sewing machine. Not knowing much about alterations I didn’t know this so it was disappointing they didn’t pick it up or knew and tried to blame me. I will not be returning here for alterations in future.

Quoted me $267 for the alteration of shirt and pants, same job done by On Point Alterations Westfield carasoul in $60.

Took my shirt to looksmart for alteration and fitting work. The first contact service was good, after measuring my size, they quoted me $211 for the work. The price quoted was ridiculously high by all means.I took my shirt and went to 'On Point' alterations, which is 100m away from looksmart. They quoted me less than $100, did required quality work on shirt and were quick with their service.I will not go a business who has a strong push on profits than people. The price quoted was as if they were going to put gold threads on my shirt. How do you justify your price when a business next to you does a better work with their quality, price and speed of service ?Not recommended

Not too happy with the service at looksmart alterations today. The old lady was very kind but the younger lady who usually works the reception was very uptight and lacked good customer service skills. Don't you know when someone finds a good tailor they keep coming more often to adjust their clothes? I would have used them for my other pants that needed adjusting but i always pick good customer service over price. I don't mind price if customer service is good. But sorry. Won't go there again. Maybe if the old asian lady was the only one working the store then yes.
