Looksmart Alterations

I was disappointed and shocked.I can not wear the coat after dry cleaning here. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL.The size was small and botton broke..What happened?

UPDATE:I have now launched an official complaint with the consumer protection agency. I have had nothing but nastiness from the staff at this place and when calling head office they sympathised but then nothing since and haven't helped at all.I went in to pick up my dress that I had paid over $100 to have altered and I was so upset. The dress fit but the sewing quality was bad and my dress (which is made of delicate material) was damaged! I have never worn this dress and it cost over $250 and now it's worth nothing! I took the dress home as the lady serving me said I'd have to come back tomorrow to discuss it with the owner. I fully intend on returning tomorrow and I am fully aware of my consumer rights for a full refund which I expect. I am still contemplating whether or not to take it to small claims court to have them cover the cost of the damage done to the dress as it is no longer worth what it was before alterations.I'll update tomorrow.

I'm absolutely disgusted by this business. My partner took in two items to get ironed and was charged $84. The staff had taken advantage of her due to English being a second language. I found out later that the place 50m away charges $20 for the same thing. SHAME ON YOU!!! Do not go here.

Absolutely butchered the job. Charged higher than others for a much worse and inaccurate job. Then tried to charge extra to fix their mess. The velcro was scratching me on the inside of the pants. Do not recommend. Clearly inexperienced

A member of my Family went here to get a very minor job done and was charged around $250 Took advantage of a nice young man. The job they did was average to say the least. Steer clear!

I had an urgent alteration needed within an day and they offered to do it within 30 minutes. Granted my alteration was quite simple. Staff were pleasant and they were reasonably priced.

In a panic, we bought in a bridesmaid’s dress which had a broken zip at 1:00pm, the wedding was at 2:00pm, they dropped everything and fixed the dress within half an hour. We cannot thank the staff at Vic Park enough!

Keep Away - Most disappointing experience of my life. I took a new dress to get altered and it was absolutely butchered. I never got to wear my new dress. Not worth the stress or the disappointment.

Have been here twice now; once for a formal dress and once to get mens pants tailored. Each time, we have had amazing service and excellent results. Would definitely recommend.
